A 26-year-old police officer has continued to be the subject of many online fans, owing to the apparent fact that she bears social characteristics that are traditionally different from those of other ladies in the profession in Kenya.
Emma Brenda Wanjiru’s hot photos recently started circulating online again, and the fans could not hold themselves from expressing admiration.

Contrary to what her appearance may communicate, Brenda indeed underwent the required hardy training at Kiganjo Police Training College like every other officer. “I would wake up every morning at 5am to jog; mum would even call and remind me to exercise. On the recruitment day, I ran on the field several laps (5kms) and the ground was sweltering hot! My daughter was among those cheering me on, telling people around her: ‘Mama yangu atakuwa polisi!”

The police officer auditioned for Tusker Project Fame (TPF) in 2010, but says she got kicked out by judge Ian after making it past the first round, as her performance was affected by stage fright.
Far from what many seem to believe, if Brenda finds you on the wrong side of the law, it won’t be fun and games. She said: “I believe in doing what is right; if you are wrong, then you are wrong. I would do what I was taught to do.”
Brenda said that she was born and raised in Nyahururu, before later moving to Nairobi for work. She revealed how she fell pregnant aged 19, and the baby’s father, whom she described as a violent man, dumped her.
“After completing secondary education, I fell pregnant – my child’s father was my first serious boyfriend. Two months into the pregnancy, he said he wasn’t ready to become a father. I told him: ‘I am 19, so where do we move to from here?’ he said: ‘You can always go back to your mum’s place, I don’t mind,’” she was quoted in the report.Emma said that life was hard at the time, many people deserted her, and although disappointed in her at the time, her mother was the only one who stuck by her.
She captioned this photo: “I just thank God tht I have u. Am always looking forward to just coming home en get ur hugs en kisses. We’ve been thru so much together but it’s amazing how God has seen us through time and again and this year is our year hunny bun. Just hang in thea.”
“I learnt quite a lot from my dad, and saw the areas I could improve on. I wanted to become a better cop if there’s anything like a better cop. I wanted people to see that a police officer’s job is as respectable as any other,” said Brenda.
Her father however, alongside the father of her child, is one of the people who discouraged her when it comes to matters marriage.
“Lanisha’s dad has made me fear venturing into marriage; he was violent. My dad was also violent towards my mum – that makes the institution of marriage doubly intimidating. Which other experience am I waiting for – those were good enough!” the single lady said, but divulged that she would be open to settling down if she met a loving and caring man, who will win her daughter’s heart.CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE
